Server Rules
By playing on Yozza SMP, you agree to follow all of the rules of the server. This ensures that we can protect the gameplay and social experience for all players and maintain integrity within the community. These rules are enforced by the staff members, as they follow their guidelines to carry out appropriate punishments. Our staff members are able to punish for offenses not listed here, if they believe a player’s actions fall within the scope of a prohibited action.
Most of these rules are applicable across all of our platforms. This includes the Minecraft server and Discord server. For more specific Discord rules, refer to the rules channel.
Punishment lengths are determined by severity of offense and previous infractions that the player has committed.
All players are responsible for their account, this includes taking responsibility for any actions performed on the account. DO NOT share your account information or password with anyone!
If you find someone you believe is breaking the rules or you would like to appeal a punishment, please create a support ticket on Discord.
Text and Voice Chat
All players are expected to carry themselves appropriately within all text and voice chats. Text and voice chat rules have similar offenses, but some may be only applicable to one or the other. Breaking voice chat rules will warrant a much more severe punishment.
- Being excessively toxic or rude towards other players.
- Spamming chat with repeated or meaningless messages.
- Impersonating staff members or other players.
- Discussing or sharing inappropriate topics in chat.
- Racism, sexism, homophobia, or any other form of discrimination.
- Harassment or targeted abuse of other players.
- Threatening or bullying other players in any form.
- Sharing the personal information of others (doxxing).
- Advertising other Minecraft servers, Discords, or websites.
- Promoting products or services in chat or via private messages.
- Repeatedly asking players to join other communities.
- Threatening to leak another player’s personal information.
- Sharing or threatening to share anyone’s real-life details.
- Attempting to obtain the personal information of other players.
- Excessive screaming, soundboarding, or playing music over voice chat.
- Playing inappropriate audio in voice channels.
- All text chat rules also apply to voice chat.
Survival & Griefing Rules
Yozza SMP is a grief-legal survival server. Read this section carefully — a lot of things that would be bannable elsewhere are allowed here.
- Griefing, raiding, and looting other players’ bases and chests is allowed and part of the survival experience.
- Loot is raidable, progress is not — items and builds can be taken or destroyed, but we do not wipe or reset player progress.
- Traps, defenses, and counter-raiding are all fair game — build accordingly!
- The spawn area and any marked safe-zones are always off-limits to griefing.
- PvP is enabled everywhere outside of spawn — you can be attacked at any time while out in the world.
- Combat logging (disconnecting to escape a fight) is not allowed.
- Spawn-camping or trapping players inside the spawn safe-zone is not allowed.
- Use of blacklisted modifications (see Disallowed Modifications).
- X-raying or using any form of ESP, radar, or chest-finder.
- Exploiting bugs or glitches to grief, raid, or duplicate items — report them instead of abusing them.
- Using macros, autoclickers, killaura, or any other form of automation.
- Item duplication of any kind results in an immediate permanent ban and rollback.
- No lag machines, TNT cannons aimed at spawn/shared builds, or anything designed to crash the server.
- No offensive builds, symbols, or structures anywhere in the world.
- Large builds near spawn or other players’ bases should leave reasonable space for others.
Punishments
Punishments escalate with repeat offenses. Staff may skip tiers for severe or malicious violations.
